PRAYER

Prayer is the heartbeat of the LJCC family. As individuals and as a dynamic group, we stay connected to God through prayer. We pray for one another, LJCC, the local community, our leaders, and the nation.

RECEIVE PRAYER

How can we pray for you today? No request is too small, no need insignificant. Our pastors and staff intentionally make time during their weekly meeting to pray for these prayer requests. All prayer requests are confidential to the pastors and staff unless you let us know otherwise.

SUNDAY PRAYER GARDEN

The Prayer Garden, located on the north side of the sanctuary, is a peaceful location for quiet reflection and prayer. Members of our Prayer Team are also available to pray with you after each service on Sunday mornings.

JOIN THE PRAYER TEAM

We are committed to being a church of prayer. That means we need people within the church to faithfully seek God and pray for the requests we receive each week, in addition to praying for God’s continued blessing in our community.

Prayer requests shared throughout the week are brought before our Prayer Team, comprised of over 100 “prayer warriors” throughout the church. Each person spends devoted time during the week coming before God with the prayer requests.

If you have a heart for prayer and want to support others by coming before God with the needs of our church, we would love to have you join our Prayer Team.

For more information, or to join the Prayer Team, contact Mike Hedman or call (858) 558-9020 ext. 216.

PRAY FOR OUR NATION

Every Wednesday at 12 pm, people gather in our sanctuary to pray for our nation. This is a non-political, non-denominational hour of prayer focused on lifting up the leaders, the citizens, and the future of our country. Come for five minutes or stay for the full hour.

For more information, contact Karen Wetzel.

PRAYER SHAWL

The Prayer Shawl Ministry knits and crochets prayer shawls for members of the congregation. We pray that the receiver feels God’s love, is cradled in comfort, hope and joy, and graced with peace and love. For more information or to get involved, please contact Karen Wetzel.

ANSWERED PRAYERS

We love celebrating how God is answering your prayers.
